We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and a passion for supporting clients through sensitive and often complex legal matters. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to client confidentiality and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prepare legal documents including petitions, declarations, discovery requests/responses, and court forms.
Assist attorneys with case preparation, including trial binders and exhibits.
File legal documents with the court (e-filing and in-person as needed).
Maintain and organize case files, calendars, and deadlines.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and compassionate manner.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Support attorneys in all phases of case management, from intake through resolution.
Track and manage billing hours and case-related expenses.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/experience required.
Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court rules.
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Bilingual skills are a plus. Mandarin or Spanish
