Experienced Paralegal — Personal Injury

Are you a detail-oriented, organized paralegal eager to support a dynamic plaintiff-side employment law firm? Our busy Arcadia-based firm is seeking a skilled paralegal with strong communication and organizational skills to help us deliver outstanding legal support and client service.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in managing case files, preparing court documents, communicating with clients and service providers, and assisting attorneys in all phases of litigation. Personal injury experience is a MUST. A paralegal certification or degree is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Proofread documents for accuracy, formatting, grammar, and punctuation
Prepare Tables of Contents (TOCs), Tables of Authorities (TOAs), and Proofs of Service
Prepare and file court documents timely and accurately
Organize and manage case files—both digital and hard copy—including hyperlinking and updates
Manage calendaring system; provide reminders for deadlines and appointments
Prepare professional correspondence
Communicate with clients and class members about case status; refer issues to counsel as appropriate
Answer phone calls and route them efficiently
Conduct detailed client intakes
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and preparation of materials
Assist with data analysis projects
Coordinate with couriers, court reporters, videographers, and other service providers
Arrange attorney travel for mediations and oral arguments
Run occasional errands, service, filing, and courier tasks (must have a valid driver’s license and reliable car)
Qualifications:
Paralegal certification, Associate or Bachelor’s degree required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional, resourceful, and able to work well under pressure
Ability to work occasional overtime as needed
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform visual tasks as required
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience ($50,000–$95,000 annual range)
Full-time, 40 hours/week plus overtime availability
