Job Description: Entry-Level Paralegal – Lemon Law Firm

We are a fast-paced lemon law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the legal filing process, particularly regarding deadlines for filing motions, and demonstrate prior experience with motions to compel. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in consumer law while contributing to a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Location – Beverly Hills, CA
Pay – $50,000-$65,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions to compel, under attorney supervision.
Track deadlines for filing motions and other legal documents to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation, including organizing and managing case files.
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and court personnel to obtain information, coordinate schedules, and resolve issues.
Prepare discovery responses, compile evidence, and assist attorneys with trial preparation as needed.
Maintain and update case management systems to ensure accurate and timely tracking of case progress.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience handling motions to compel in a legal setting.
Familiarity with court deadlines and an understanding of the timeline for filing motions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and case management.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent education is preferred.
