Job Title: Part-Time HR Generalist
Location: Charlotte, NC 28203 (Free Parking Available)
Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Total: 23 hours/week
Pay Rate: $26.77/hour
Assignment Type: Temporary (approx. 6 months)
Requirements: Background check and drug screen required
We are a non-profit real estate holding company dedicated to developing and managing housing solutions that support stable, healthy communities. Our work helps ensure access to safe, affordable housing across our region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with FMLA, Leave of Absence, and Reasonable Accommodation inquiries and documentation
- Support employee relations processes, including tracking and coordination of cases
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
- Maintain accurate records and ensure HR documentation compliance
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous Human Resources experience required
- Direct experience with FMLA and leave management strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Experience working in or with non-profit organizations is a plus
