MUST:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans.
- Have 1+ year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting.
HUGE PLUS:
- 2+ years’ recent experience working as a Patient Service Representative.
- Experience with the patient check-in process.
- Experience with CS-Link/Epic.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Greeting patients and resolving concerns, as needed.
- Checking patients in/out while collecting and reconciling payments.
- Completing patient registrations and scheduling appointments.
- Processing and tracking referrals and authorizations for various types of insurance.
