Your Role on the Team Position Summary: Under supervision, performs the full range of duties from specimen procurement through specimen and/or blood/blood component processing/handling and performs a wide variety of repetitive technical procedures and/or standardized tests according to established protocols. Assists in equipment maintenance, quality control, allocation/ issuing products such as blood/blood components and tissue for transfusion medicine, inventory control, and performs all clerical functions including but not limited to data entry, maintaining records, answering phones and providing results. LAB SVCS_Under supervision, performs the full range of duties including but not limited to specimen procurement, all preanalytical processes, or transfusion medicine processes including blood/blood component processing, allocation, tissue dispensing, handling and storage. Performs a wide variety of repetitive technical procedures and standardized tests according to established protocols using appropriate techniques. 50% LAB SVCS_Performs all clerical functions including but not limited to data entry, maintaining records, dispensing tissue and blood products, answering phones, resolving preanalytical specimen issues and providing information and results. 20% LAB SVCS_Participates in monitoring workflow and helps maintain compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory agency requirements.
