Pediatric Cardiology – Electrophysiologist University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF09802 The Department of Pediatrics, and Mattel Children’s Hospital of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, seek a junior, mid- or senior-level faculty member to join the Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Cardiology, on the Health Sciences Clinical Track. Applicants must be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology, with advanced training/experience in pediatric/congenital electrophysiology. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Interested candidates should have completed a dedicated 4th year of training in pediatric and congenital electrophysiology. They should be Board certified / eligible in electrophysiology. Candidates should have a record of excellence in clinical care, including expertise in the management of complex arrhythmias and implanted cardiac rhythm devices in complex congenital heart disease. Candidates should also have a strong background in teaching and research, with a record of academic productivity. The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of 12 pediatric cardiologists, including specialists in advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure and transplant, fetal/perinatal cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology works closely with a world-class congenital cardiac surgical team. Applicants with advanced training and/or expertise in pediatric/congenital electrophysiology are encouraged to apply. Duties include patient care, teaching of fellows/residents/medical students, and participation in clinical research and/or other scholarly endeavors that will lead to academic promotion. The base salary range for this position is $110,500 – $388,194.
