About the Role
As a Rodent Exclusionist / Branch 2 Technician, you’ll perform thorough inspections, expertly manage rodent and wildlife exclusions, and ensure high-quality, professional service for our valued clients. This is a field-based, hands-on role that demands real expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, grit, and a commitment to excellence. This is not spraying foam and setting traps like the big guys do.
Note:
- This is a non-remote position.
- Candidates with genuine rodent exclusion expertise gained from working at at a small business and a valid Branch 2 Field Representative License will be strongly preferred.
- Experience with large national pest control companies is NOT considered sufficient. You will be tested on your technical skills prior to hire.
- Additional compensation available for someone with the right exclusion experience (quality, small business–must demo skills).
Responsibilities
- Manage a Branch 2 Pest Control Service Route daily.
- Provide one-time services for Branch 2 pests (e.g. ants, crickets, earwigs, mites, mosquitoes, fleas, roaches spiders, etc.)
- Conduct detailed rodent and wildlife inspections and perform exclusions.
- Develop proposals, estimates, compile detailed reports and execute pest control services.
- Maintain organized, clean company vehicle and equipment.
- Use company charge card responsibly for fuel and necessary work expenses.
- Complete digital documentation and customer communications professionally.
- Deliver punctual, safe driving and time management within assigned territory.
- Collaborate with team and management on additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months+ of hands-on experience in structural rodent exclusion (NOT including experience at large chain pest control companies) is strongly preferred.
- Strong Rodent Exclusion and branch 2 technical skills strongly preferred and will be compensated appropriately
- Valid Branch 2 Field Representative License (in good standing).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and basic math skills.
- Tech-savvy.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Clear, professional communicator, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug testing, and sign a company NDA.
