Essential Position Responsibilities
Must have reliable transportation/ pass a background check
Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of areas across. This includes daily cleaning tasks, restocking supplies and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all residents, employees and visitors.
Perform routine cleaning of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells and other common areas.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures, leaks, or hazards.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills throughout the day.
Ensure floors are swept, mopped and/or vacuumed per set schedule.
Clean glass doors, windows, and surfaces to maintain a clean appearance per set schedule.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Work collaboratively with the team to provide friendly and responsive customer service.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
