job summary:

A growing manufacturing company in Orange County, CA is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or similiar) and bring a background in plastic injection molding, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience working with diverse molding equipment and performing process validations for molded components.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new and improved processes to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing, improving yield, reducing costs, and ensuring part quality.

  • Execute validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and risk assessments for new molding projects.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on technical issues, meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production departments.

  • Support the acquisition and qualification of new production equipment.

  • Assist with quality assurance to resolve issues and perform root cause analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Similar

  • Plastic Injection Molding Experience

  • Technical Knowledge in IQMS or SAP
