As part of Red Bull’s category management strategy within the Operations business unit, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the assigned Marketing & Media categories. This includes developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and aligning with internal stakeholders while taking into account the company’s goals and requirements.

The Procurement Manager will lead negotiations and support the business in achieving an optimal balance of quality and cost. Using structured sourcing processes, this role will drive sourcing evaluations and identify creative opportunities for strategic partnerships that support growth and ensure uninterrupted business operations.

This position provides technical guidance, advice, and support on a broad range of procurement processes and issues. The Procurement Manager acts as a key connector and collaborator between departments, ensuring that decisions are made with a well-balanced business impact.

  • PROCUREMENT STRATEGY & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

    Support the procurement strategy to reduce costs and improve efficiency by optimizing sourcing processes, designs, materials, and services.

    Lead cost-saving initiatives and assist in identifying and implementing related strategies.

    Implement high-level supplier strategies to leverage and optimize supplier relationships.

    Identify and onboard new suppliers while managing the existing supplier base.

    Conduct root cause analysis of supplier performance issues, drive corrective actions, and resolve issues.

    Prepare reports to monitor spending, identify trends and opportunities, and support supplier performance management activities.

    Manage all aspects of supplier performance, including setting expectations, resolving issues, driving development and continuous improvement, and measuring KPIs.

    Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from negotiation through execution.

    Manage assigned categories and projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

    Coordinate with Red Bull headquarters as needed and when potential opportunities arise.

    Engage key spending departments and identify opportunities to create value.

    Serve as the first point of contact for assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders.

    Collaborate closely with the Legal and Finance teams to minimize risks related to materials and services.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, including negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Direct experience in experiential marketing, live events, sports marketing, and/or brand-building events.
  • Demonstrated understanding of agency pricing models and production markups.
  • Ability to evaluate large-scale experiential marketing and event production proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of event production cost drivers.
  • Experience with the operational aspects of event production and agency delivery models; CPM/CPSM and/or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Functional understanding, awareness, and application of negotiation, RFX, supply chain, sourcing, contracts, and supplier management principles.
  • Ability to develop and execute procurement strategies with suppliers, including ongoing negotiations, pricing, improvement of key supply chain metrics, and day-to-day support of efficient supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and research skills for evaluating complex procurement data.
  • Understanding of problem-solving methodologies and familiarity with root cause analysis tools.
  • Proven conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills, with strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong systems proficiency (e.g., SAP/Oracle, business intelligence tools, Microsoft Suite-Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
