Professional Development Program
Shape your future by joining our Professional Development Program (PDP) after graduation. Over 18-24 months, you’ll grow into a high-performing Team Member on the path to leadership at Niagara. We’ll support you on your journey by creating a personalized rotation plan where you will explore core departments like Supply Chain and Business Transformation while having the flexibility to choose between general and technical teams that align with your career goals. While rotating to different departments, you’ll engage in impactful project-based and task-based work, gaining cross-functional exposure to build your cross-functional skills and business knowledge.
You’ll continue to learn with dedicated training courses that enhance your skills and by partnering with a PDP mentor who will provide professional guidance and help to grow your Niagara network. You’ll apply your new skills and business knowledge by working with trusted leaders on meaningful projects where you’ll propose solutions and see them implemented. We also provide a four-month rotation at one of our highly advanced manufacturing plants across the country, where you’ll forge new bonds with Team Members as you work side by side on projects and our everyday operations. At the end of your program, you’ll be ready to take on your next adventure at Niagara in a new role where you’ll help us grow our business.
Essential Functions
During these 18-24 months, we will focus on your career development through a combination of on-the-job training, professional development, customized training and support. Specific examples include:

Formalized learning curriculum which includes learning Niagara culture, enacting everyday leadership, and building a leader identity

6 months spent in core rotations in Supply Chain and Business Transformation

4 months spent in a manufacturing plant learning the heart of our business and creating lasting impact

8-14 months spent rotating in other departments as decided on by you and your Champion to continue developing your skills and business knowledge

Ongoing support from your PDP Champion (manager), your assigned PDP Mentor, and a dedicated advisor from the Talent Development Team

Participation in End of Rotation Showcases where you will present to leadership on your project outcomes and learnings for each rotation

Multiple opportunities for exposure to leadership through coordinated VP Chats

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
