The University of Southern California Gould School of Law invites candidates for a tenured faculty position to teach law courses for the academic year 2025-2026. Applicants must hold a J.D. degree or equivalent, or a Ph.D. from an accredited institution, and have demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching and scholarly achievements. The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 – $210,000 (Assistant Professor of Law; $200,000 -265,000 (Associate Professor of Law) and $230,000 – $400,000 (Professor of Law). When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
