Project Director – Hospitality Casegoods

Overview

The Project Director leads custom hotel casegoods projects from bid through final delivery. This role oversees cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client specifications, with a strong focus on hospitality FF&E manufacturing and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a Project Management team of 4–5 members

Manage project schedules, resources, and risk mitigation

Serve as primary contact for clients and external sales reps

Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, logistics, and installation teams

Review shop drawings, finish samples, and production schedules

Manage budgets, change orders, and contract compliance

Ensure quality, brand standards, and regulatory compliance

Conduct site visits and resolve field issues as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

6+ years of project management experience in hospitality FF&E (casegoods preferred)

Strong knowledge of manufacturing and hotel project execution

Experience managing multiple complex projects

Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Procore, or similar)

Ability to travel domestically

Experience with value engineering, overseas manufacturing, and shop drawings preferred
