Description
Our Department of Pediatrics is seeking to hire a Psychologist to join the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Program. The program offers ongoing follow up and treatment for children with a broad range of developmental and behavioral challenges, including behavioral problems, attentional problems, developmental delays, and language disorders. You will provide clinical services to children and young adults (age 0-21) Primary responsibilities include:
- Conduct developmental evaluations and psychological testing
- Provide parent and child education through evidence-based coaching programs
- Provide psychotherapy services
- Maintain timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Provide consultation to interdisciplinary team members
- Other clinical duties as assigned
Salary range: $122,231.52/yr – $161,193.60/yrQualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Valid California Clinical Psychologist License
- Knowledge of early childhood education or child development
- Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, situations, and procedures to define problems and formulate alternative solutions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to function independently and as a member of a interdisciplinary team
