Imaging supply company is looking for a Purchasing Assistant – Will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:
· Assist with creating, submitting, and tracking purchase orders.
· Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, order status, and resolve discrepancies.
· Review and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager.
· Follow up with vendors on delayed shipments or order discrepancies.
· Help resolve order or inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to appropriate departments.
· Update shipment ETA in system.
· Coordinate with vendors on product returns and credits.
· Coordinate inventory transfer plans from the California to other U.S branches.
· Monitor inventory levels at all branch locations and notify team of restocking needs.
· Support purchasing department in additional tasks as required.

Requirements:
· No prior business experience required. Training will be provided.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
