This Purchasing Coordinator Position Features:
Position Overview: material ordering / purchasing background.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Purchasing & Job Ordering Assistant to join our team for a 90-day assignment. This role will support our operations by managing purchasing activities and coordinating job orders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently, and have strong attention to detail. Experience in the solar industry is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with purchasing materials, equipment, and supplies needed for solar installation projects.
- Process and track job orders from initiation through completion.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data entry, purchase orders, and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to confirm order details and resolve issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment needs.
- Maintain organized records for purchasing and job ordering activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Previous purchasing, ordering, or administrative experience preferred.
- Solar industry knowledge or experience a plus.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email systems, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Position Details:
- Temporary position: approximately 90 days.
- Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday.
- Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
