Role Overview
A leading federal contractor is seeking a Construction Control Representative to support quality assurance operations at a high-security government site. This is a fully on-site role based in South Dakota. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience and a strong background in construction oversight, inspection scheduling, and contract compliance.
Responsibilities
Perform duties in accordance with the Black Hills Area Quality Assurance (QA) plan.
Complete daily site reports in RMS, documenting progress, work activities, safety issues, and subcontractor manpower.
Schedule and maintain three-phase inspections, noting deficiencies and keeping the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) informed of any issues impacting the contract or schedule.
Manage the distribution and timely processing of submittals.
Attend weekly contractor meetings and contribute to project coordination.
Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction control or a related field.
Demonstrated experience with at least one specialized skill or code relevant to the position description.
Strong understanding of construction QA/QC processes and federal contract compliance.
Proficiency in using RMS or similar reporting systems.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to work on-site at Ellsworth Air Force Base; remote work is not permitted under the client contract.
