job summary:
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to add to their team. This role you be support the Quality Management System (QMS), encompassing procedure control, KPI analysis, corrective actions, internal and external audits, certification programs, and cross-functional resolution of quality issues.
Client requires a minmum of 3 years of quality/inspection AND looking for a fast learner who comes from either a medical/food industry with knowledge of standards!

responsibilities:
- Manage, revise, release, and train on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Maintain the Procedure & Form Index and ensure the organization of QMS documents in the shared drive.
- Collect, organize, summarize, and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and develop related action plans.
- Lead and support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, including managing Internal, External, and Supplier Corrective Actions.
- Apply various Root Cause Analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5-Whys, Brainstorming) and ensure timely and thorough corrective action responses.
- Oversee the Internal Audit Program, including scheduling, conducting audits, and maintaining all associated reports and corrective actions.
- Manage the Stamp Holder and Signatory Programs, including maintaining logs.
- Review and accept Material and Processing Certifications and respond to suspect nonconformities.
- Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) meetings as required.
- Serve as a key interface between Production, Quality Management, and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare for and support Customer and 3rd party audits by preparing paperwork and supplying objective evidence.
- Respond to Customer and Supplier Surveys.
