Position Summary

Under supervision, the Research Analyst is responsible for supporting data collection, cleaning, and coding for both qualitative and quantitative research projects. The position will contribute to the development and implementation of data management protocols, assist with survey administration and interview transcription, and apply coding frameworks to analyze open-ended responses and large datasets.

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

  • Understanding of basic research methods (qualitative and quantitative). Familiarity with survey design and data collection protocols. Proficiency with data management platforms (e.g., Excel, Qualtrics, Stata, Dedoose) (Required)
  • Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality practices. Awareness of social science concepts and terminology (e.g., health equity, poverty, early childhood development) (Preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create clear data visualizations and summaries. Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. (Required)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. (Required)
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive data (Required)
  • Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related area and/or equivalent/training (Required)
  • Master’s Degree in a related area and/or equivalent/training (Preferred)
