RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGER on a 5-year longitudinal study Location: Los Angeles, CA (the position requires the individual to be based in Los Angeles) FULL-TIME Salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually Project title: A longitudinal examination of factors predicting the social networks and mental health services of Black and Latinx Individuals with serious mental illnesses (Co-Principal Investigators: Rohini Pahwa, PhD and Erin Kelly, PhD). Duties and Responsibilities: Direct a 5-year longitudinal research study Implement recruitment plans Screen participants for eligibility Obtain participant consent and schedule assessments Oversee participant compensation, reconcile petty cash and participant compensation logs Refine and implement tracking protocols to maintain high follow-up and retention rates Conduct assessments with participants as needed Help prepare regular reports for the funders and community partners Perform other related activities as required Required Education, Experience, and Skills: Master?s degree or higher in social work, public health, psychology, nursing, or other social/behavioral science disciplines Excellent communicator ? demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate, collaborate, and establish and maintain good workingelationships with a diverse group of multi-disciplinary researchers, staff, and partners Experience with research and participant tracking Excellent organizational skills Ability to travel within Los Angeles for project activities High level of attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work on a team, and punctuality Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish Familiarity with institutional review boards, HIPAA regulations, and clinical research standards. Prior experience working with research protocols Experience with working with adults with serious mental illnesses Experience working with data repositories Experience with quantitative methods Experience with qualitative research methods Experience managing a team and/or supervising staff Please submit a CV and Cover Letter for consideration.
