Job Summary The selected candidate will contribute to a growing research program in Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics. Working under the guidance of senior researchers, the individual will help apply machine learning methods, with a focus on reinforcement learning, to mathematical problem solving. The role emphasizes hands-on experimentation, algorithmic exploration, and collaborative research, rather than independent program leadership. This position is well-suited for candidates in the early stages of their career. Essential Job Duties Conduct research using machine learning and reinforcement learning techniques to explore mathematical problem solving. Assist in the development, testing, and refinement of algorithms for mathematical reasoning. Collaborate closely with senior researchers and other team members to advance project objectives. Contribute to data collection, analysis, and the preparation of research results. Assist in drafting manuscripts for publication in scientific journals and preparing materials for conference presentations. Participate in group meetings, research discussions, and collaborative planning sessions. Basic Qualifications Master’s degree Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field plus two years of relevant work experience. Experience with machine learning, especially reinforcement learning. Strong background in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving. Proven track record of research excellence demonstrated through publications and projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. Required Documents Resume.
