Description
The Chancellor’s Residence Manager provides support in two primary functions: residence management and coordination of events at the property. The Residence Manager works closely with the Associate to the Chancellor to ensure that the residence is in a state of complete readiness for all types of events and activities, whether scheduled or unscheduled. This includes overseeing the maintenance of the residence, coordinating facilities maintenance, repairs, and renovations, and managing work performed by campus service personnel and outside contractors. The Residence Manager is also responsible for planning and implementing events hosted at the residence, coordinating with various campus service departments and external vendors. The role includes maintaining individual and annual event budgets and developing trend analyses to support strategic event planning. The Residence Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy and ensures any complex issues or challenges regarding are escalated to the Administration Chief of Staff for coordination of additional resources or support.
