Are you a sharp, proactive risk management professional from Banking and or Financial Services with a knack for identifying gaps and designing impactful solutions? We’re looking for someone like you to join our dynamic team and help manage complex Risk Assessable Units (RAUs) while working closely with the business to drive effective risk mitigation strategies.

In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of risk assessments, controls, and issue management to make a significant impact in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage and own 2-3 complex Risk Assessable Units (RAUs) or RCSAs, leading the drafting process and ensuring alignment with the business.
Collaborate with RAU Owners within the business to identify and assess risks, establish control measures, and implement effective risk management solutions.
Take ownership of issue management activities, including identifying, tracking, and resolving gaps to ensure business compliance and control requirements are met.
Provide subject matter expertise on risk and control, guiding the business in mitigating risks associated with underlying service models and L4 processes.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify current and emerging risks and design risk-mitigation strategies.
Lead discussions around control assessments, RCSA activities, and key risk indicators (KRIs) to continuously refine and enhance risk management frameworks.
Ensure smooth integration of risk and control activities into routine business processes and escalate when necessary to meet business objectives.

Desired Qualifications:
Extensive experience in designing and implementing effective controls, including issue management and governance programs.
Deep knowledge of risk management processes, particularly with issue management and root cause analysis.
Experience with Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities and an understanding of risk management frameworks within financial services.
Proven ability to proactively manage and mitigate risks while collaborating with key stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively to business and technical teams.
Solid operational risk management background, preferably in commercial banking, corporate banking, or investment banking environments.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
