learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, patient intervention
and promote effective working relationships.

This Clinical Nurse
II of Radiology in involved in collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of
dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for
pre/intra/post-operative areas for our ambulatory interventional radiology
procedures and assist with other radiology modalities as required.
Additionally, the position includes providing patient and family education,
participating in research projects and quality initiatives to ensure safe continuity
of care. This position also includes on call responsibilities. You will be
required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health.

*May rotate between
Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica and West Valley Hospitals to provide support as
needed. On-call responsibilities with the expectation of a 30-minute response
time*

 Salary range: $62.43 – $92.81 Hourly

Qualifications

 *Please ensure your resume
and application clearly specify the unit(s) you have worked on as part of your
work experience*

  • BSN or MSN –
    required  
  • Current valid California RN license –
    required
  • At least 3 years of recent Acute Care ICU,
    Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology procedural experience – required
  • ACLS, BCLS and PALS from the American Red Cross
    or American Heart Association – required
  • Pediatric experience – strongly preferred
  • CRN or CCRN Certificate – preferred 
  • Strong IV Skills – strongly preferred
  • Ability to cover on-call with a 30 minute
    response time
  • Able to cover all areas of Radiology,
    including the clinics and future radiology areas
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to
    35 lbs.
  • Ability to remain focused in stressful
    situations, multitask and prioritize care when competing tasks arise
  • Ability to develop and implement and evaluate
    patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
  • Ability to perform historical, physical and
    behavioral patient assessments
  • Official Transcripts and/or original diploma
    from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
