We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Export Sales Specialist with a strong background in Latin American markets to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience selling physical products—preferably in the automotive after market industry—who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
You will be responsible for driving business development and managing distributor relationships across Mexico, Central America, and South America, as well as representing the company at U.S. trade shows and customer visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and grow sales in assigned territories: Mexico, Central America, and South America.
Manage distributor relationships and lead customer negotiations.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, proposals, and strategic plans.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy.
Provide sales and technical training/support to customers.
Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive after market industry.
Proven experience selling products (not services) to distributors.
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
Willingness and ability to travel 20–30%, including overnight and international travel.
Strong understanding of export/import procedures and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in auto parts sales is a strong plus.
