You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, support access control and badge processes, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor traffic, assisting with directions, check-in procedures, and/or badge verification as required by location protocols.
  • Complete routine reports, incident logs, and shift handoffs, communicating observed conditions and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Have at least 2+ years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
