As a Security Guard for Vehicle Lot in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy automotive dealership location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and report security-related concerns while providing helpful customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive retail and service location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of vehicle display areas, service bays, parking lots, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and key access points for unusual conditions, and document observations in written reports and/or activity logs per site requirements.
• Assist with access control and traffic flow as needed, including verifying identification and/or authorizations for deliveries, vendors, and after-hours access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet – preferred.
• Customer Service Experience – preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
