As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols of corridors, entrances, and exterior areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and friendly customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and support emergency procedures while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and guided by integrity.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting staff with de-escalation and coordinating with local responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital interior areas and exterior grounds, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or unsecured doors.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, including verifying authorization, assisting with directions, and reporting policy violations through the chain of command.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to hospital departments and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations as requested.
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
