As a Security Guard – Mobile Rounds in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, visitors, and property teams with strong customer service and clear communication while documenting activity and reporting concerns. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
