Job Summary:
Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a multi-faceted Security Manager with supervisory/leadership responsibility, working in support of Special Programs. The candidate will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position will require not only technical and managerial skills, but also a diligent, confident and results oriented work ethic. This individual will routinely interface with all levels of management and government customers.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Must be able to understand, implement and ensure compliance with the DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directive
- Supervise and lead a team of program security professionals.
- Conduct personnel performance reviews to develop, mentor and train personnel.
- Provide oversight and direction to other functional areas on security related matters.
- Ability to understand and proactively partner with key leadership personnel at all levels, in full support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Technologies directives and policies.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures in a cost effective and timely manner in accordance with customer policy.
- Develop and implement OPSEC plans and counter measures.
- Provide managerial oversight of annual self-inspections, evaluate findings, and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
- Provide managerial security support during Government inspections.
- Accountable for cost, budgets, schedules, safety, and human resources functions.
- Prepare, coordinate, review, and submit cost proposals to Program Management as required
- Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
- Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements.
- Maintain facilities in accordance with ICD-705 standards.
- Manage/Oversee Top Secret Accountability Program
Qualifications You Must Have:
- This position is a critical niche position and 7 years of direct experience in Special Programs or Sensitive Comparted Information experience is highly desired
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Requires broad understanding of management approaches, advanced knowledge and skills related to security policy implementation, and minimum 10 years prior National Security related experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Understanding of the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and ICD-705.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations.
- Active Top Secret security clearance. Possess a minimum of a current, final Top Secret clearance with an investigation not older than five (5) years on the first day of employment.
Qualification We Value:
- Masters Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
- Possess a minimum of a current, final TOP SECRET security clearance with an investigation not older than six (6) years on the first day of employment.
- Related training with Defense Security Service, Center for Development of Security Excellence or equivalent security certification programs.
- MUST be able to travel on short or emergent travel for company business.
- Willing to work after hours and/or over-time to support program requirements

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD – 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
