As a Security Officer – Access Point Monitor in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential location, you will support access control by greeting residents and guests, confirming credentials, logging visitor activity, and directing deliveries. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of community areas, and document security-related concerns with clear communication. What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control access to the residential community by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes as required, logging entries and/or exits, and directing authorized vehicles and pedestrians.
- Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and intercom systems, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local public services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, amenities, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and to document observations in daily activity reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
