As a Security Officer – Commercial Bike Patrol – Weekdays in Commerce, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate office park, you will conduct routine foot and bike patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to tenant and visitor needs with strong customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with the team, and support a caring culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovative, reliable service.

Pay Rate: $21.10 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and tenants by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, property policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Control access to the location by monitoring visitor and vendor entry, verifying credentials as required, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate observations to management and/or local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have Security Experience – 2+ Years.
  • Be Able to Ride a Bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
