As a Security Officer – Distribution Gate Overnights in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document entries and deliveries. You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, while communicating clearly with site teams and responding to concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, managing visitor and vendor sign-in, issuing temporary credentials, and directing foot and vehicle traffic to authorized areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity including deliveries and shipments by conducting gatehouse checks, verifying appointments and/or documentation, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency services as required and completing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify irregular conditions, and report maintenance and/or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
