As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 06:30 PM – 03:00 AM Tue 06:30 PM – 03:00 AM Sat 10:30 AM – 07:00 PM Sun 10:30 AM – 07:00 PM
What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support established access control protocols for a high-traffic operations environment.
  • Assist with site-specific security-related operations such as monitoring sensitive areas, supporting after-hours coverage, and communicating with onsite contacts regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
