As a Security Officer – Mobile Rounds Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with friendly service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
- Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local first responders as needed.
- Monitor access points and common areas, verify visitor and contractor entry per site procedures, and help to maintain orderly traffic flow in and around the property.
- Complete shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate noteworthy observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience – 1+ Years.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Guard Card/License – preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet – preferred.
- Customer Service Experience – preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
