As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related operations by conducting entry screening, checking credentials, managing visitor and employee access, and monitoring assigned areas for unusual activity. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, document observations, and coordinate with site teams to help reduce incidents. What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen employees, visitors, and vendors at designated entry points, including checking identification, verifying access authorization, and managing sign-in and sign-out logs.
- Support shipping and distribution operations by observing and reporting irregular activity around docks, trailer yards, and package processing areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and document observations in activity logs and incident reports.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
