As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams and guests with clear communication and service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and partner with others to keep operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and/or mall location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and notifications per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, corridors, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access to designated areas by monitoring entrances, exits, loading and receiving areas, and back-of-house spaces, and directing visitors and/or vendors according to site guidelines.
  • Observe and report hazards, suspicious behavior, and maintenance issues, and communicate with site management and/or local responders as directed by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Have a guard card/license preferred.
  • Have CPR/First Aid preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
