As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage visitor access, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Wed 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM
What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access as needed.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within logistics and distribution areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the perimeter and interior areas to help to deter security-related risks and report any irregularities found during rounds.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Collaborate with logistics and distribution personnel to support security-related operations and maintain smooth workflow at the location.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, supporting evacuation procedures and communication with first responders if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
