Sr. Accountant with Sage 100 or Great plains needed to work on a temporary assignment located in Long Beach.

Oversee all accounting functions, including month-end and year-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Prepare and review internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Manage inter company accounting transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
Supervise and provide guidance to the accounts payable and accounts receivable by staff.
Monitor cash flow, aging reports, and ensure timely processing of receivables and payables.
Lead audits, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure audit readiness.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
Direct role in the monthly financial close including journal entries, P&L statement reviews, monthly financial reporting & account analyses, etc.
