The anticipated pay range for this position is $142,349.90 – $150,907.90, annually; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist. Position Summary Enterprise Data & Analytics leads campus-wide enterprise data and analytics including data governance, architecture, data and application integration, database administration, and business intelligence such as reporting and analytics. This team sets the tone for UCLA’s data culture, further ingraining data usage into the university’s ways of working. The Enterprise Data & Analytics team manages the technology, processes, and support needed to equip university stakeholders with thorough, secure, and accessible data. The Data Integrations team enables the collaboration and unification of systems through secure data delivery by leveraging several integration strategies including but not limited to manual data integration, middleware data integration, application-based integration, uniform access integration, and common storage integration. This team increases the value of distributed UCLA data by connecting it with other sources of information or campus systems.The Senior Integration Developer for Enterprise Data & Analytics is a technical leader who will architect, design, develop, test, and maintain highly complex integrations across a wide range of UCLA’s products, technologies, and applications. The Senior Integration Developer will ensure their solutions balance technical excellence with usability and accessibility and deliver best-in-class solutions to support a broad range of diverse customers, partners, and key stakeholders. This role will collaborate with UCLA’s Data Architects to ensure overall alignment and integration across the Enterprise Data and Analytics organization. The Senior Integration Developer will positively impact University culture by working together with more junior integration developers and other team members to use insights and data to deliver information technology and service comprehensively and consistently across the University. This role will execute UCLA’s vision while promoting UCLA’s culture and values. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Qualifications 5 years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology, information integration, data services, application services, or related fields. (Required) Extensive experience developing integrations, ETLs, data flows, and APIs through the use of an integration platform. (Required) Experience writing test cases for new and existing code to ensure compatibility and stability. (Required) Experience planning and performing unit testing and system integration testing and facilitating performance and user acceptance testing. (Required) Experience working in a project-based environment using leading project management practices. (Required) Experience participating in activities to advance an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (Required) 7+ years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology, information integration, data services, application services, or related fields. (Preferred) Advanced knowledge of systems integration deploying complex systems integration solutions. (Required) Advances skills associated with system integration design, modification, implementation, and deployment in a complex environment. (Required) Foundational knowledge of the development and configuration of software solutions. (Required) Ability to understand and work with large, complex integrations systems and implementation plans. (Required) Substantial knowledge of security concepts and experience with secure code development techniques. (Required) Strong written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders. Can relay technical information to audiences of technical and non-technical stakeholders. (Required) Advanced organizational skills and is able to balance competing priorities and deliver concurrent projects to various stakeholder types. (Required) Advanced problem-solving skills; ability to uncover root of difficult problems and scope solutions based on knowledge of available resources and timelines as well as awareness of vision and strategy. (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations Bachelor’s Degree Information technology, computer science, public administration, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. (Preferred) Informatica, Cloud Lakehouse Data Management Certified Professional. (Preferred) Informatica, Cloud Data and Application Integration R33/34 Certified Professional.
