Job Title: Senior Loan Operations Officer

Salary: $39.00 – $42.00 offered based on experience
About the Role:
·We’re seeking an experienced Senior Loan Operations Officer to join our Loan Operations team. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who is confident working independently, has deep expertise in loan servicing and loan documentation, and enjoys being the go-to resource for complex operational needs.
·In this position, you will support advanced functions within the department—ranging from regulatory reporting and audit coordination to SBA communications, loan pledging, and subpoena processing. You’ll also partner closely with the VP–Loan Operations Manager and serve as a key resource to Loan Operations Specialists across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide lead support to Loan Operations Specialists (I–III) on new loans, renewals, and modifications—primarily commercial—using Laser Pro software.
·Complete SBA 1502 reports accurately and on time; conduct ongoing SBA 7a monitoring through CAFS.
·Manage all communications from the SBA and Guidehouse; handle SBA 7a loan payoffs.
·Oversee Rocket Mortgage/Quicken processes and annual audits.
·Work directly with Falconbridge, DMI, and US Bank on Mortgage Pool purchases.
·Complete monthly Federal Reserve Bank and quarterly Federal Home Loan Bank loan pledging.
· Conduct research and complete subpoenas in coordination with Legal Counsel, Special Assets, and Central Operations.
·Coordinate and support internal Loan Operations audits and external exams (Compliance, Fair Lending, FRB, FHLB, Mortgage Pools).
·Perform Flood Insurance audits.
·Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-level issues; support Loan Operations team members.
Qualifications:
·7+ years of banking experience in Loan Operations.
·2+ years of loan documentation experience (commercial preferred); Laser Pro experience required.
·Strong understanding of complex entity structures as they relate to loan documentation.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Strong organizational and time management abilities with proven prioritization skills.
·Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
·Professional, positive, and customer-focused interpersonal skills.
