Description
The Senior Manager of Field Support drives operational excellence within Red Bull’s On-Premise Distribution network by streamlining processes, enhancing distributor manager competencies, and developing scalable tools and resources aligned with brand standards. This role is responsible for translating national strategies into actionable field execution, enabling On-Premise Distribution Managers (OPDMs) and distributor partners to lead the Energy Drink category, expand distribution (both reach and vertical growth), and outperform competitors.
Additionally, this position involves collaboration across various functions and with global counterparts-such as Route-to-Market (RTM), IT, On-Premise Marketing, Training, Business Insights & Analytics, Key Accounts, and Field Sales-to prioritize initiatives, gather business requirements, and deliver comprehensive digital and physical solutions that can be implemented nationwide. The Senior Manager ensures the widespread adoption of tools, applications, and training programs provided by HQ/Santa Monica across the U.S. distribution network.
Through structured planning, effective communication, top-tier tools, and targeted training programs, the Senior Manager empowers the distribution system. They oversee a portfolio of 15-20 annual projects, requiring exceptional skills in project management, prioritization, risk assessment, and presentation.

- PROJECT MANAGEMENT & STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Lead strategic initiatives for the Vice President of On-Premise Distribution.
Oversee an annual portfolio comprising 15-20 cross-functional projects.
Develop and deliver executive-level presentations for the On-Premise Leadership Team (OPLT) and senior leadership.
Facilitate the coordination of cross-functional teams to successfully achieve project objectives.
Proactively identify, address, and escalate risks and dependencies as needed.
Utilize innovative frameworks, including Agile, Scrum, Ethnographic Research, and Design Thinking, in project execution.
- EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
Ensure that all distribution tools, deliverables, and applications comply with Red Bull’s brand standards.
Collaborate with the Brand team to optimize digital asset publishing and field execution processes.
Act as the product owner for Red Bull Takeover, focusing on driving improved efficiencies.
Allocate approximately 33% of time to in-market activities to support field teams and identify opportunities for productivity enhancements.
- SALES ENABLEMENT (GLOBAL & LOCAL)
Develop national tools and resources for sales and distribution teams, including skill-building guides, all-hands meetings, and lineup calls.
Manage headquarters-controlled tools and oversee their deployment in the United States.
Collaborate with global and local IT and business teams to establish requirements and implement new solutions.
- NATIONAL SALES CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Ensure all national sales content conforms to brand standards and is widely accessible and adopted.
Supervise the development of DP sales tools and physical sales materials.
Ensure key account teams are consistently providing updates and relevant sales resources to OPDM and DP sales teams.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & AUTOMATION
Lead automation projects to address significant challenges encountered in the field.
Identify and develop new automation opportunities to minimize administrative and reporting tasks, allowing more time to focus on sales activities.
- INDEPENDENT CHANNEL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Support the Independent Trade Program (VIP), PFP, and similar tools.
Ensure that all stakeholders have access to effective and user-friendly selling tools.
Manage the creation of content, including launch materials, sell sheets, and training resources.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 8-10 years of sales and distribution experience in the consumer goods industry, with preference for beverage products.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Extensive experience in cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of sales drivers and the application of data to inform execution strategies.
- Expertise in commercialization within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment, preferably with a focus on energy products.
- Required experience with distributors and/or suppliers, including consulting with third-party distributors.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, along with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proven fluency in utilizing internal and external data sources.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve organizational processes.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
