job summary:
A Senior Subcontract Administrator is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering. Remote work. This is a Senior Subcontract Administrator role requiring experience to manage the full cradle-to-gravel procurement lifecycle, from drafting RFPs and negotiating terms to conducting cost analyses and executing final contract closeouts.

responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale subcontracts for design subconsultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure full compliance with company and project requirements.
- Develop source lists of qualified subcontractors by evaluating past performance and coordinating with project management and clients.
- Draft and verify Request for Proposal (RFP) forms to ensure proposal packages are technically accurate and complete.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids for feasibility and negotiate complex terms and conditions.
- Issue subcontract documents and amendments, ensuring all prime contract flow-down requirements are accurately included.
- Perform detailed cost and price analysis justifications to support and defend subcontract awards.
- Conduct market research to support strategic source selection and subcontractor identification.
- Generate contractual correspondence and maintain meticulous tracking records for project management and client reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison between subcontractors and internal procurement personnel.
- Manage the financial lifecycle of the subcontract, including tracking payments and maintaining updated vendor files.
- Execute comprehensive subcontract closeout procedures, ensuring all documentation and claims are archived for a seven-year retention period.

- Prior experience with SAP/ARIBA Procurement system is a plus.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices in the technical engineering labor subcontracts industry, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Cost Point.
- Procurement systems is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering (or related field).
- 10+ years of subcontracts procurement experience.
