The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Video Conference & Multimedia Technician to join the team in El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Tukwila, WA; or Fairfax, VA.

The Video Conference & Multimedia Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including system updates, application support, and troubleshooting for video teleconferencing (VTC), and site multimedia projection systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assesses conference room and VTC requirements

  • Coordinates activities to design, install, configure and maintain conference room and VTC/multimedia systems and components

  • Supports the restoration of audio and video operations

  • Ensures scheduling of video teleconferencing and security of information and systems

  • Performs asset acquisition and management

  • Evaluates software and hardware to ensure compatibility with VTC/mulitmedia computing systems

  • Ensures system conforms to architectural objectives, production readiness and supportability

  • Performs VTC/multimedia customer training development and processes, training plans, requirements, materials and media development, aids, scheduling and course assessment/feedback

  • Provides comprehensive multimedia computing support in closed environments

  • Leads a broad range of systems and application support activities for video teleconferencing (VTC) and site conference room projection systems

  • Develops and coordinates the final design requirements of audio-visual architecture for conference rooms

  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to identify and document business requirements

  • Leads comprehensive multimedia computing support in closed environments

  • Performs asset acquisition and management

  • Evaluates software and hardware to ensure compatibility with VTC and multimedia computing systems

  • Ensures system conforms to architectural objectives

  • Ensures system’s production readiness and supportability

  • Leads VTC and multimedia customer training and processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher)

  • 5+ years of experience in audio visual multimedia applications and equipment

  • Experience with Linux, Windows and Audio/Visual systems

  • Experience with WebEx facilitation and experience with VTC meeting structures

  • Experience in audio visual multimedia applications and equipment

  • Experience with aAutoCAD, Microsoft Visio and Project

  • Willingly travel 20% of the time or more as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Certifications with Audio Visual Manufacturer’s such as Crestron, Biamp, Extron, Cisco and Shure

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $104,550 – $141,450

(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).
