Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Solutions Expert to support its Technology Shared Services (TSS) Data and Analytics organization. Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Solutions Expert at GDIT. Here, you will design and tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and growing large-scale data and technology solutions for our customers.

HOW A SOLUTIONS EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Grows GDIT’s data analytics, AI, and automation capabilities for federal and state/local customers.
- Supports growth and proposal initiatives to align data architectures, AI applications, and solutions to business objectives.
- Presents insights to both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders, assisting in making informed, data-driven decisions.
- Contributes to a variety of complex data-related projects, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and analytics.
- Manages customer requirements and analysis to design customer experience improvements and self-service interfaces.
- Leads application of generative AI to assist and improve customer experience processes for end users and agents.
- Leads implementations of virtual agents, chatbots, and other AI technology for customer projects.
- Mentors and advises data practitioners in analysis, engineering, and data science projects.
- Designs and builds cloud and data architectures in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
- Supports capture and proposal efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business by developing technical solutions for capture strategy and proposal responses.
- Collaborate with different teams to understand their data needs and create solutions that solve problems and streamline workflows.
- Continually evaluate emerging technologies and stay updated on modern data science trends to implement in future projects.
- Provide marketing and technical documentation that supports the use of those solutions.
- Presents solutions and capabilities at conferences, directly to customers, and internally to the rest of GDIT.
- Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
- Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
- Uses predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
- Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Designs, researches, and develops highly advanced processes, which may result in new product/business opportunities for the company.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- BA/BS and 15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience
- Expert-level experience in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Azure data architecture.
- Experience in Google Dialogflow or other conversational AI platforms.
- Experience in contact center technology implementations, such as Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and/or self-service virtual agents and chat bots.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Google, Azure, and enterprise architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, TOGAF).
- Experienced in implementing some machine learning techniques (may include supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, ensemble methods, dimensionality reduction)
- Skilled in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and experience in working with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and ETL processes.
- Ability to assist in the architecture and development of a DevSecOps, CI/CD analytics development pipeline environment using in-house and cloud-based technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate insights with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.
- Skilled in implementing advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch), libraries (like scikit-learn), and data science platforms (like Databricks and SageMaker)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experienced in implementing data governance, data quality, and data management for large organization.
- Implementation experience in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms such as NICE CXone, Genysys, or Amazon Connect.
- Certifications in Google Public Cloud (GCP).
- Certifications in Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Certification in AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Demonstrated experience consulting with internal and external customers to understand business needs and make recommendations.
- Previous experience in the defense or government sector.

The likely salary range for this position is $140,899 – $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
