The Cedars-Sinai Neuro Clinic is a highly specialized program that works very closely with the ENT department to provide excellent and innovative care to patients with different voice conditions. This clinic is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work independently. This position’s right candidate is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist with specialized training and experience treating voice problems. As a inpatient acute CFY Speech-Language Pathologists in the Cedars-Sinai Neuro Clinic in Los Angeles, California, you will primarily complete evaluations and provide appropriate treatment interventions per policies. Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly within expected timeframes. Utilizes validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals, demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis. Monitors and modifies the progress of patients assigned to assistants. Demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, families, and care team members. Qualifications Educational Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology Program – Required Master’s Degree- Graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology Program – Required Doctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology Program – Preferred Licenses: California Speech Language Pathologist RPE Temporary License Basic Life Support- Upon Hire Experience: Must be competent by virtue of training and/or experience to perform evaluations, design and implement treatment plans and provide education in a manner appropriate to the age of the patient. Physical Demands: Able to push, pull, lift or carry 0-35 pounds on an intermittent basis; Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat consistently to administer manual exercises and techniques safely; Able to assist the patient with physical activities such as transfers, bed mobility, and ambulation. Able to identify the need for and arrange assistance to maintain safe techniques.
