Position Role Type:

This role will work closely with the factory and operations teams, as well as be responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material within the factory and building/ physical handling of material.  In this role the ownership & use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements

  • Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production and constraints.

  • Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed

  • Control and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system

  • Summarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items that will be or are released to the factory floor

  • Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering

  • Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders

  • Interface with internal customers

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:

  • Experience with ERP systems

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Aerospace Industry experience preferred

  • Experience in a customer facing role is desired

  • Operational understanding of manufacturing, decision point and engineering processes.

  • Basic production configuration management, planning principles and ERP system tools

  • SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD – 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
