Sr. Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)
Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst specializes in collecting, analyzing and presenting large, complex data sets to deliver critical financial insights and recommendations. This role requires advanced proficiency in data tools and modeling techniques to build scalable financial models and standardized frameworks. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret high-volume business data, enabling strategic decision-making across the organization.
Essential Functions
Data-Driven Analysis, Reporting, Modeling and Decision Support
- Extract, structure, and analyze large-scale revenue, manufacturing, and operational data sets using analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
- Design and automate recurring reports and dashboards to provide timely, data-driven guidance for business leaders.
- Conduct ad hoc and structured analyses by segment, brand, or product; simplify complex findings and identify key controllable metrics.
- Investigate and explain performance variances through root cause analysis, delivering insights that inform cross-functional decisions.
P&L and Financial Management
- Own and support core financial activities, including profitability analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and expense management.
- Support the business planning cycle with robust financial frameworks, forecasts, and performance tracking.
- Support and execute month-end close processes by preparing, reviewing, and validating key financial data to ensure accurate and timely P&L reporting.
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver financial insights that guide strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial leadership across current operations and prospective business ventures.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting, analysis, and modeling for greater accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years – Experience in Position
- 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects

- 6 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

Competencies
- Understanding of Financial statements, revenue, cost and margin
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Index/Match, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.)
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to create financial models, frameworks and or summaries that convey complex information in a simple manner.
- Experience and comfort with large data set extraction, clean-up and analysis
- Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work assignments with limited guidance in a changing environment
- Strong problem solving/ analytical skills
- Ability to seek and obtain information from a wide range of sources and individuals both within, and outside of, the Finance department
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and complete assignments quickly and accurately.
- Excellent presentation, communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with coding in Python, R, or comparable tools is a plus

Education
- Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and other related fields or equivalent experience
- Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics

$96,309.20 – $139,648.35 / Yearly
