As a Sr Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the global Manufacturing Engineering organization. Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates moderately complex manufacturing processes by conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from operators/production technicians.
  • Determines the methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for moderately complex products and machine parts and assemblies; ensures that products and processes meet customer quality requirements.
  • Discover and document hidden factory and prepare written or graphical work instructions for the communication of manufacturing requirements to production personnel.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Presents findings and underlying rationale to team, supplier, or customer.
  • Support root cause-corrective action activities as necessary.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional (e.g. quality, design, or test engineering) or project team responsibilities
